An owner who has been pricing an Avidyne IFD navigator or a Vantage display for next year's annual has a date to work to. In an email to customers on Nov. 3, 2026, Avidyne said its current pricing "is set to expire on December 31, 2026," ahead of what it called "the annual 2027 increases."
The deadline is a day earlier than that for the order itself. Avidyne's words: "Orders must be placed and delivered to your dealer no later than December 30, 2026." The email doesn't say whether "delivered" means the order reaching the dealer or the equipment arriving there, so a buyer counting on this year's price should ask the dealer which, and get the answer in writing. ## What it doesn't say
Avidyne gave no figure for the increase and no list of what it covers. The email names two product lines as examples: the IFD series of navigators (FMS, GPS, nav and com, which Avidyne builds as direct replacements for Garmin's older GNS units) and Vantage, its display upgrade for Cirrus aircraft with the Avidyne Entegra system. It doesn't say whether the increase reaches the TAS traffic systems or the autopilots.
Makers commonly change their prices at the turn of the year, and Avidyne calls its own increase annual. Hangar Debrief found no similar notice yet from Garmin, Dynon or the other panel makers.
Avidyne's dealer locator is on its website, and the company's phone number is (800) 284-3963.
