I originally wanted to use standard sight gauges in the wings for fuel indication, but the way the wing sits higher than the fuselage I would have only been able to see about 1/3 of the fuel in the tank. Also, the tubing would have had to be much longer than is typical. So, I decided on using the factory sending units, but used another RV method of mounting them. I'll pro-seal the flanges to the tank and use the gasket with fuel lube to attach the senders with nutplates and screws.
