When something is wrong

What to do, and what is worth telling us.

If something does not do what you expected, or you cannot find how to do something, we want to hear about it.

What helps most:

  1. What you were trying to do, in your own words.
  2. What happened instead, and the exact message if there was one.
  3. The registration number, if it was about a particular aircraft.

Do not translate it into what you think the problem is. "I could not find where to put the ELT" is more useful than "the ELT flow needs work", because the first one says where you got lost.

The form: A problem, A feature request or A question at the top, one box to write in, and Send it.
The form: A problem, A feature request or A question at the top, one box to write in, and Send it.

To send one:

  1. Press Support, the small button under the bar at the top right of a page, or Tell us what goes wrong at the foot of any page. In the Panel Designer, press Support at the top of the information box, on the right.
  2. Choose A problem, A feature request or A question at the top of the form.
  3. Write what happened, what you would like it to do, or what you would like to know. It is one box.
  4. Not signed in? Add your email address if you want a reply. A question needs one, so we can answer.
  5. Press Send it.

Each one you send becomes a numbered request. Our answer comes to you by email. Signed in, My requests in the account menu lists every one you have sent and where it stands, and you can open one to read the conversation. My requests also has the buttons Report a problem, Request a feature and Ask a question.

The page you were on, the version of the site that was running and your browser go with it automatically. The form says so under the Send it button. Nothing else of what you were doing is sent.

Errors are reported automatically, so a crash is usually already known about. What is not automatic is anything confusing, misleading, or missing. That only reaches us if you say so.
