When a tool is added to the Panel Designer, its button pulses in the tool row until you have seen its short tour. Measure, POH figure and Mirror have one.
- Click the pulsing button. Instead of starting the tool, a small card opens with the first step of the tour.
- Press Next for each step, or Back to see one again. Where a step shows the tool at work, it does so on your own design (the Measure tour, for example, selects one of your instruments and turns Measure on), and the card moves to the bottom left corner, out of the way.
- Press Done on the last card.
To stop at any time, press Skip the tour, the ×, or Esc.
When the tour ends, everything it did is put back: the tool is turned off or closed and what you had selected is selected again. Nothing in your design changes.
Finished or skipped, the tour is over for good: the button stops pulsing on every computer you sign in on, and from then on a click uses the tool. Each tool's own article in Help explains it in full, for example Measure distances on your panel and Make a numbered picture of your panel for your POH.
Without a membership, the tour of a member tool is the same, with a last card that says the tool comes with a membership.
